At White Mountain Operating, our mission is to deliver top-tier drilling and exploration services with a strong focus on safety, quality, and performance. Founded in Sublette County, Wyoming, we’ve grown from a single-rig operation into a trusted provider across the Rocky Mountain region.
We specialize in a wide range of drilling services including water, irrigation, geothermal, mineral exploration, disposal, injection, foundation, and well rehabilitation projects. Our team also offers expert roustabout services, transportation and logistics support, and in-house fabrication and CNC machining.
With over 7 million feet drilled and a full fleet of equipment and professionals, we bring the experience, tools, and drive to get the job done right, every time.

Our History

White Mountain Operating began with a single domestic water well rig in Sublette County, Wyoming. By the end of 2005, we had expanded to two rig, setting the foundation for a strong future.
Today, our fleet has grown to six rigs, and we proudly serve over 50 clients across the Rocky Mountain Region. Backed by a team of over 35 dedicated professionals, our Auger and Rotary Divisions have safely drilled more than 7,000,000 feet. We continue to grow with multi-state operations, supported by an in-house transportation and logistics fleet, mobile mechanics, and a full-service CNC machine shop, ensuring we deliver quality, reliability, and performance on every project.
